Abraham van der Hal and his wife Rebecca van der Hal-van Dam were brought to Groningen by the Dutch Military Police on wednesday 10 March 1943. They were admitted at the Jewish elderly home Beth Zekeiniem. Although Rebecca van der Hal was ill, they were transported to camp Westerbork on 11 March 1943.
