Bernard Weijel and his family

Bernard Weijel married Lea Aptroot on 18 May 1910 in Enschede. The only child of the couple was Jonas. The family lived on the Kalanderstraat in Enschede, where they owned a delicatessen. During the Depression they went out of business. They moved to the Patmos neighbourhood, where they opened a shop selling sweets and lottery tickets.
