Abraham Prins and his family

Abraham Prins married Sientje Menist in Amsterdam on 23 September 1931. They had two children, Cecilia and Clara.
The Prins family had a textile shop in the centre of Middelburg. During the bombing of the town centre on 17 May 1940, this shop was destroyed. A temporary shop was opened on Londensekaai. Abraham Prins searched for hiding places for his children, but could not find any. In 1942, the family moved to Amsterdam by order of the occupying forces.
