Jozef Lezer and Mietje Swaab married in 1933 in Amsterdam. They had one child that survived the war.

Son Who Survived World War II.

I was born in Amsterdam on the 22nd March, 1939.
The only Child (Son) of Mietje Lezer-Swaab (Born 1906)and Jozef Lezer (Born 1904). They were both Murdered on 27 August 1943 in Auschwitz. My Father was the youngest of 11 Children who along with Husbands, Grandchildren, my Opa, as well as my Oma and Aunties from the Swaab Family side, were also murdered. 64 in all, according to documents in my possession from Westerbork Library. I was the only person left after the war with my family name of Lezer.


In 1951, at the age of 12, I migrated to Australia.
My Wife Robin and I, married in 1967 . Last year we celebrated our Golden Wedding.
We have three children and 6 Grandchildren.
We live in Perth, Western Australia.
