Nathan Moses Bielschowsky was the son of Isidor Bielschowsky and Anna Löwenthal. He was first married to Else Berger. The couople had four children, among whom Hildegard. Else Berger died in 1913. Nathan later married Gertrud Michels. From this marriage one child was born.
In 1938 the whole family moved to the netherlands. Four children survived the war.
