The mayor of Almelo requested that Maurits Abas, a warehouse clerk, and Julie Abas Aandagt, residing at 14c Bavinkstraat in Almelo, be located, detained and brought to trial. They had changed their place of residence without the required authorization. This description referred to Jews who had gone into hiding.
