Mijn overgrootmoeder, Anna Blaaser-Waas, is op 84-jarige leeftijd in Auschwitz vermoord. Dat moet gezien haar hoge leeftijd, tijdens die koude wintermaand van 1944 gezien direct na aankomst gebeurd zijn. Zij was op dat moment de weduwe van mijn overgrootvader, Jacob Blaaser.
