Dear Saar,
Received your package today in good condition. Have already talked to your Father and Mother. This declaration has to be in Westerbork before Tuesday. The next transport is leaving on Tuesday so that it is otherwise too late [sic].
Greta and Lucas are here. See that you make contact with their neighbors on the 3rd floor to save our beds. See if you can send the beds away, via Veen & Roomen. That is safe. My letter has to be short because I have to see that I can send it off quickly.
Your parents are not too bad. Of course they are sad, but as much as my work allows I am with them and have a chance to cheer them up by talking with them.
Be sure that you are prepared for anything, because I see more and more people arriving here every day, and still there is no end in sight.
