Alison Einfeld Mendres

Alida Einfeld was my father's cousin. My father was the son of Marinus Einfeld, brother of Franz Einfeld. I am wondering if Franz converted to Judaism as the rest of the family appears to have been Christian. Any help in this matter would be appreciated as I am working on our family tree. Thank you.
