Adolf Philip Cutzien was a son of Salomon Cutzien and Franziska Lilienfeld.
He had another brother Louis who also was killed during the Holocaust.

Zoals ook bij andere leden van deze familie in Joods Monument is opgenomen, was de officiële naam van dit gezin Cutzien, maar in de wandeling noemden zij zichzelf Krukziener. Dat staat zelfs bij hun inschrijving in het bevolkingsregister en zo staan zij bijv. ook in de krant bij de Bar Mitswa van zoon Maurits.
