Abbreviation for the Dutch resistance movement Ordedienst.
The OD was a resistance movement the primary objective of which was to ensure the orderly return of the Queen and her government after the end of the war. The OD was organized along military lines and its members were armed. In the final year of the war, the OD, together with the National Assault Teams (LKP) and the Resistance Council (RVV), were all combined to make up the Binnenlandse Strijdkrachten (BS; Forces of the Interior).
The term Ordedienst also refers to an organization of Jewish supervisors at the transit camp Westerbork.
