Simon Leiser

Simon Leiser (Kerpen, 3 July 1889) is husband of Eva Leiser-Leiser (Kerpen, 19 September 1891) and father of Kurt Leiser (Kerpen, 28 November 1915) and Helmuth Leiser (Kerpen, 9 January 1923). All persons are listed in the site on different pages. One child survived the war.

Simmon Leiser with his wife and child are now on the monument as a family. Helmuth lived at the hakhshara centre in Wieringermeer and listed there, the link above shows their parent-child relation.

Simon Leiser emigrated with his wife and one of his sons to the Netherlands in 1938, after he had been detained in the Sachsenhasuen camp and his son in Dachau. His other son came to the Netherlands in 1939 and lived in the Wieringermeer hakhshara settlement. A third child survived the war.
