Jacob Nico Bachrach

The mayor of Elst (Province of Gelderland) requested that Jacob Nico Bachrach, residing in Elst, be located, detained and brought to trial. He was suspected of having changed his place of residence without the required authorization. This description referred to Jews who had gone into hiding.

Jacob Nico Bachrach was ondergedoken op het adres Vlak 7 bij de Nieuwe Haven in Dordrecht. Op 25 oktober 1943 werd hij hier na verraad gearresteerd.

Salomon Bachrach was married. He and his wife had three children and lived at 7 Pastoorstraat in Arnhem. The entire family was in hiding. In October 1942 they were listed by the Arnhem police commissioner as missing in the Algemeen Politieblad of Arnhem. Salomon Bachrach was suspected o having changed his place of residence without the required authorization.
