Salomon Frankenhuis

Salomon Frankenhuis, born 14 September 1904 in Enschede, was a son of Philip Frankenhuis and Jetje Woudstra. He was married to Rozette Wolf, a daughter of Mozes Wolf and Jansje Vrieslander. The couple lived in Engschede at Javastraat 102, where on 9 April 1941 their daughter Henriette was born.

A memorial plaque listing the names of staff members who did not survive the war has been affixed in the former residence of the director of the Stoomweverij Nijverheid (part of the Van Gelderen family business) at 2 Nijverheidstraat in Enschede. Eight of those listed were Jews, including Salomon Frankenhuis.
