Louis Simon Koperberg appears as married to Flora Goudsmit, born 9.9.1918 in Rotterdam (daughter of Ezra Lion and Leentje Slier). They had no children. Along with his wife and his sister Margaretha-Ludovica (born 24.6.1922), he tried in August 1942 to flee to Switzerland through occupied France. The three of them were arrested in Pontarlier (Dept. Doubs) on August 17, transferred to the prison in Besançon on Aug. 26 by order of the Feldgendarmerie, then to camp Pithiviers, before being sent to Drancy and deported to Auschwitz in convoy Nr. 34.
