Mr. Buchhalter came to the Netherlands from Vienna on November 25th, 1938.
After a stay in Amsterdam (weesperstraat 21-II), he was taken to the refugee camp in Hoek van Holland on December 19th, 1938, on April 7th 1939 he was taken to Hellevoetsluis, on April 17th 1939 to Nunspeet, on July 14th, 1939 back to Hoek van Holland, on March 28th, 1940 to camp Westerbork.
His parents were Salomon Buchhalter (born in 1863) and R. Antler.
On September 4th, 1944 he was deported to Theresienstadt and on the September 29th, 1944 to Auschwitz.
He was a salesman of dry goods.
