Helene Martha Pinczowski

Helene was a German refugee. She came to the Netherlands on December 24th, 1938. After staying in the Bondshuis in soesterberg she went to quarantine Beneden Heijplaat in Rotterdam, Achterklooster in Rotterdam, and Huis ten Vijver in Scheveningen. In May 1940 she moved in with family in The Hague. In March 1941 she moved to the "Jongenshuis" in Arnhem, but she left there in May 1942.
Last address in Germany: Hamborn, Wilhelmstr. 54. Her father, Jakob, born in 1896 in Zawiercza (Poland) was a salesman and shoemaker. Her mother was Rosa Pergericht, born in 1899 in Lazy (Poland). Both parents perished in Riga. Their last address was Dahlstr. 15 in Hamborn.
Helena wanted to go to Palestine.
