Julie Wolf-Strauss was a daughter of Low Strauss and Hannchen (Johanna) Appel. Julie Strauss fled Germany together with her husband Gustav Wolf on 16 March 1939.

'Julie Amalie Wolf-Strauss is op 16 februari 1880 geboren in Frankfurt am Main. In 1906 is zij aldaar getrouwd met Gustav Wolf, op 25 februari 1873 geboren in Bickenbach. Vanuit Frankfurt am Main vestigde het echtpaar zich op 6 april 1939 in Heemstede op het adres Camplaan 26 bij het gezin van hun zoon (1). Daarna volgden nog twee adressen in Heemstede, achtereenvolgens Herenweg 158 en Lentelaan 8…

Gustav Wolf and Julie Strauss had one child. Their child survived the war.
