About Willy Albert Levy

Willy Albert Levy studied medicine in Paramaribo and in Groningen, where he sat for his medical finals on 4 February 1926. He became an assistant in the Binnengasthuis hospital in Amsterdam, first for pathologic anatomy, later for surgery. After that, he worked as a non-resident doctor.
Willy Albert Levy lived and practised (as a surgeon) at 82 Frans van Mierisstraat in Amsterdam. He had another practice at 33 Sarphatipark. He was married to Helena Martha (nickname Lena) Frijda. He took his own life together with his wife.
