Ernst Ludwug Hugo Meijer was a son of Arthur Meijer and Helene Cohen. In 1923 he moved together with his parents and two brothers to Heppenheim (Germany). On Februari 16, 1934, he left to The Hague and later on Otterloo; both places in the Netherlands.
