About Klazina de Leeuw

Klazina de Leeuw lived in a large house at 5 Rijnkade in Alphen aan den Rijn, where she ran a boarding house. Many Jews from Germany and Poland intending to settle in Alphen aan den Rijn boarded with her first. Klazina de Leeuw was a sister of Aaltje Hijmans-de Leeuw.
Klazina was picked up during the major raid in Alphen aan den Rijn on 30 September 1942 and deported to Auschwitz via Westerbork.
