Rudolf Emanuel de Bruin and Rosalchen Salomonson also had a daughter Rosetta. Rudolf Emanuel was founder of the weekly paper De Vechtstreek. He owned Café de Bruin where many cultural activities took place. He and his son Lion were also members of theater society 'Thalia'.
