Nathan Gudema and his family

Nathan Gudema and Johanna Hertz had another child. On the weddingparty of that child Helene (Leentje) was bridesmaid.

The mayor of Oude Pekela requested that Nathan Gudema, a textile goods merchant, and his wife Johanna Gudema-Hertz and daughter Helene Gudema, be located. They resided in Oude Pekela and were suspected of having changed their place of residence without the required authorization.
This description referred to Jews who had gone into hiding.

Access is subject to authorization from the Stichting Joods Maatschappelijk Werk.The Jokos file reveals that a claim was lodged for compensation for valuables surrendered to the Lippmann-Rosenthal looting bank (L-claim, number 4495/19967).
