Emanuel Meyer Premsela was the son of Andries Premsela and Adèle Kleerekoper. In 1920 he married Vrouwtje Lamon. She was the daughter of Isaac Lamon and Raatje Polak. The couple had two children: Arthur and Vera. Only days after the German invasion of the Netherlands in May 1940, the whole family commited suicide.
