Regina Gaenzel and her mother Anna lived at Dragonerstr. 18, 2nd Floor, in Berlin-Mitte prior to emigrating to Holland. Regina was a member of the anti-Nazi resistance youth group around Herbert Baum (see his Wiki entry). Her mother was the seamstress Anna Gaenzel nee Rath, born in 1890 in Kolomea, survived Auschwitz and emigrated to the US in 1951. She died in New York in 1992 at the age of 101.…

Deze Gina was samen met haar moeder uit Duitsland gevlucht, nadat haar vader als politiek gevangene was vermoord. Gina kreeg als een van de eersten een oproep voor Polen.
