About Meier Turteltaub

Meier Turteltaub was known as Max. He arrived in the Netherlands as a German refugee on 5 January 1939 and found shelter in Eindhoven. He lived at the youth aliyah home Paviljoen Loosdrechtse Rade in Loosdrecht from 29 November 1939 until 7 December 1942.
He and a brother who survived the war then went into hiding at a pastor's house.
