Albert Luss

According to the Sterbebücher of Auschwitz Albert Luss died on 5 September 1942. It is possible this date is different from the official day of death as established after the war by the Dutch Department of Justice.

Albert emigrated from Leipzig, Germany to Holland in the 1930s. His mother Henny Luss née Schnurmann (27.05.1882 in Frankfurt/Main) lived on Kaiser-Wilhelm-Str. 28 in Leipzig. His father Hugo (28.01.1877 in Pfungstadt) died on 12.01.1941 in Leipzig. Henny was deported on 21.01.1942 to Riga Ghetto, where she died or was murdered.
