Op 10 november 2022 werden bij het adres Beethovenstraat 48-III Stolpersteine gelegd voor Edgar Weil en zijn vrouw Margarethe Weil-Dispeker.

Zij overleefde en werd bekend als schrijfster Grete Weil. In de roman Tramhalte Beethovenstraat (1963) beschrijft ze de periode waarin ze in die straat woonde.
