Volgens de persoonskaart van Senta ter Berg heetten haar ouders Semmi ter Berg en Selma Löwenstein.
In augustus 1939 kwam Senta naar Nederland. Ze woonde als pleegkind bij het echtpaar Blog op de Keizersgracht.
