Debora Lorjé-del Valle

Debora del Valle had a child from a previous marriage. This child survived the war. From her marriage to Ernest Armand Lorjé two children were born. One of them survived the war.

A memorial in Barneveld commemorates the Jewish victims of this town. More information on this memorial can be found (in Dutch) on the website of the Nationaal Comité 4 en 5 mei.

Before the war the Lorjé family lived in Haarlem. There they had a bookstore. They sold the store before the German authorities good take it away. The sales price was a fraction of the actual value of the store.
