Abnahmeverzeichnisse

Abnahmeverzeichnisse indicated the total value of the furniture and other household effects left behind after a Jewish family was deported.

An inventory was compiled in many cases as well. Both documents were drafted by the Hausraterfassungsstelle staff upon orders from Einsatzstab Reichsleiter Rosenberg. Some of the items were then shipped to Germany. The Inventarliste and Abnahmeverzeichnisse are contained in the Einsatzstab Rosenberg archive, which is at the NIOD. Some of these documents are also in the Jokos files.
