The 1939 Birth Notice (shown in the 'Photos' section - is relating to the birth of Israel and 'Leni' (Golda Lea, nee Beder)'s son, Simche (also known then, as Siegmund, and later/now as Simon).  He was likely named after his maternal grandfather, Simche Isaac Beder ('Siegmund') who died in Dusseldorf in 1935.

Simon survived the holocaust, together with his mother, 'Leni' (Golda Lea; later: Leah). They were hiding in a house in the Velp (see the attached document, in the 'Media' section, detailing this).  After the war, mother and son emigrated to Israel.
