About Pinkus Hilfman

Pinkus Hilfman was a religious teacher and a talmud scholar of the Portuguese-Jewish Community in Paramaribo. He was the manager of the archive of the community. Through Pinkus Hilfman a part of the archive was handed to the Algemeen Rijksarchief (now National Archive) in Den Haag.
Pinkus (Bernard) Hilfman went back to the Netherlands in the thirties. On 27 Jaunary 1943 he died in Amsterdam. He was buried on the Jewish cemetry in Diemen.
