Mietje de Leeuw was a daughter of Salomon Hartog de Leeuw and Sara de Bruin. She was married to Alexander Winter. In 1942 they both lived at the Tehuis voor Israëlitische Oude Lieden (home for Jewish elderly people) in Arnhem.
