About Celine Marie Rückert-Denekamp

Celine Marie Rükert-Denekamp performed under the stage name Cissy Denekamp. She attended the Amsterdam theatre school during the academic year 1916-1917. Her acting debut was with the Hofstad Toneel. Three years later she and her husband moved to Germany, where she lived until the start of World War II. She was deported to Auschwitz via Vught concentration camp.
