Jacob Querido was married to Klara Boas. He was a son of Isaac Querido and Ribca Valença, both from Amsterdam. Jacob Querido was a diamond cleaver. On 11 July 1944, he died in Camp Westerbork.

On 21 November 1944 an urn with the ashes of Jacob Querido was buried at the Portuguese Jewish cemetery at Ouderkerk aan de Amstel. Grave Location: Careira das Urnas, Careira 3, Sepultura 1. After the death of his wife in 1972, the urn was reburied next to her grave.
