About Salomon Doof

Salomon Doof played from 1937 till 1941 violin and saxophone in the famous dance orchestra The Ramblers. In a short film from 1941 (found in the collection of Instituut Beeld en Geluid), he can be seen and heard. Not long after this he and a Jewish colleague had to leave The Ramblers.
