Geertje Vrengel was a daughter of Mozes Vrengel and Hendel Bollegraaf. She was married to Hartog Hollander, a son of Jacob Hollander and Lisette Levie. The couple had three children: Jacob, Mozes and Samuel. At the beginning of the 1940's Geertje Vrengel resided at the psychiatric institution Apeldoornse Bos.
