Noach Halberstadt was the son of Victor Halberstadt and Roosje Ark. He married 13 November 1918 in Amsterdam to Esther Klijnkramer, a daughter of Gerrit Klijnkramer and Sara Cosman. She has survived the Holocaust.
The couple had six children: the here mentioned Sara, Victor and Roosje and three children who have survived the Holocaust: Gerrit, Anna and Maurice.
The Halberstadt family resided since 1928 in Antwerp, Sleeckxstraat 11. After the war, Noach's widow lived again in Antwerp, where she deceased in 1965.
Noach Halberstadt was deported from Mechelen to Auschwitz with Convoy XVI, together with his son Victor, which departed on 31 October 1942 and which arrived in Auschwitz on 3 November 1943. where he at some point has been killed.
