Helga Deen and her parents and brother were in the transit Camp Vught from April till June 1943. There she kept a diary for her beloved in Tilburg. The diary and several letters survived the war and are now in the collection of the Regional Archives of Tilburg.
In March 2007 the book 'Dit is om nooit meer te vergeten. Dagboek en brieven van Helga Deen' was presented. The evening before the presentation NCRV Netwerk broadcasted a documentary on the book and life of Helga Deen. The same year there was a temporary photo exhibition about her life in the Regional Archives of Tilburg.
