About David Rosenbaum

David Rosenbaum arrived in the Netherlands as a German refugee on 13 December 1938. He was taken in at various assembly points for Palestine Pioneers. He stayed at the youth aliyah home in Loosdrecht, the Paviljoen Loosdrechtse Rade, from 20 September 1940 until 7 December 1942, after which he went into hiding.

While in hiding he was caught and deported to Westerbork. The Westerweel group helped him escape from the camp. During this escape, he was identified on the train, caught again and deported.
