Mozes Dwinger was a son of purchasing agent Abraham Dwinger and of Keetje van der Reis.
He worked as a student nurse in the Apeldoornse Bos, where he began working July 20 1942. Rose Henny Cohen, head of the linen-department of a hospital, was a daughter of manufacturer David Cohen and of Estella Sientje Weiler (deceased).
Mozes Dwinger married Rose Henny Cohen in Camp Westerbork on 4 February 1943.
