Hartog Aandagt was a son of Jacob Aandagt and Rebecca Slier. He married 30 August 1911 in Amsterdam to Rachel Croese, a daughter of Salomon Croese and Judith Goudsmit.
The other eight of his eleven siblings, who have been killed during the Holocaust were Betje, Mozes, Matthea, Rachel, Isaac, Philip, David andNaatje.
