Jacques Englander, a son of Nathan Englander and Lea Rimini, married 12 September 1917 in Zaandam Hanna Rodrigues Garcia, a daughter of Elias Rodrigues Garcia and Rachel Leeda. The couple had two children, Lea and Nico.
Jacques was born in a family of eight children. Two of them (a sister and a brother) have survived the Holocaust. The others: Eliazer, Judith, Esther Samuel Henri and Louis have been killed in the Shoah.
