Beletje Kattenburg was a daughter of Samuel Kattenburg and Schoontje Ossendrijver. She married Hijman Kalf in 1918 in Amsterdam. They divorced in 1931. They had the here mentioned son Willem. Beletje remarried in 1937 in Amsterdam to Henricus Franciscus Smits. He passed away a few months later in 1938.
