About Max Willem Boasson

Max Willem Boasson was a son of Catharina Speijer. He was married. In May 1940 he was mobilized as a reserve lieutanant Tr.Det.Peel.Div. During the German invasion he had, as a LSO (Landing Signal Officer) to contact the Belgians. When the German forces were advancing, Max Willem Boasson jumped off a bridge near the Belgian town Lommel in the course of which he was killed. Max Willem Boasson is buried on the military war cemetery on the Grebbeberg.

Max Willem Boasson had to contact the Belgian army. When he wanted to cross a bridge near Lommel, this bridge was blown up and he was killed.
