The Jokos file reveals that a claim was lodged for compensation for valuables surrendered to the Lippmann-Rosenthal looting bank (L-claim, number 4333 / 15278).
Jacob Granaat and Aleida Groen were forced to move to the Transvaalbuurt in 1943. They moved to the Retiefstraat 39 together with their mother and baby. The child presumably survived the war. More information van be found in Counting my steps by Jakov Lind and Therese Cornips (Amsterdam 1970).
