Alida Nathans was married to Samuel Asser Wijnberg. They had Four children, of which his sons Marthijn and Mozes did not survive the war. Mozes was married. The family lived with Mozes and his wife at 23 Veemarkt in Zwolle. One child resided at a different address.

On 1 July 1929 Samuel Asser Wijnberg bought Hotel Pinas from Leon Louis Pinas. The Hotel was renamed to Hotel Wijnberg. From 21 September 1929 it was located on Veemarkt 23 in Zwolle. After Samuel Asser Wijnberg passed away his widow continued the company. She had to withdraw as an owner on 1 Januaray 1942. Hotel Wijnberg was then ran by an administrator, who acted on behalf of two of the children from April 1945.
