Friedrich Wilhelm Kamp was married to Ingrid (Inge) Gertrud Kamp-Meyer who was born in Cologne. She survived Auschwitz and Liebau and returned to her tweo sons Rolf and Nico whoe were in hiding. The three of them wrote a book in Italian and Dutch, De laatste trein naar Auschwitz. Inge died in 2009
