About Joan Anna Meyer Udewald

Joan Anna Meyer Udewald survived the concentration camp to which she was transported on 10 April 1943, together with the rest of her family. Seven days after the liberation, on 8 May 1945, she died, probably in the train on the way home.
Joan Anna Meyer Udewald is commemorated on a memorial plaque at the Koning Willem ll College in Tilburg. In her time this was the Rijks-HBS 'Willem ll'.
